Ouroboros

from $35.00

This image was inspired by my fascination with AI image generating software–its ability to observe and analyze the human experience without being part of it, and then relay it back to us imperfectly. It gives us an outsider’s perspective on humanity, in a visual language we can understand. I am awed by the accuracy and creativity of the images it creates and I’m endeared by the elements of being a human that still leave the AI bewildered, because they won’t exist for long. This painting documents a brief moment in time, what we’ll soon look back on as “right before”.

Original artwork is 14”x11”, watercolor on Arches cold-pressed watercolor paper, 300gsm. Giclee prints available on archival paper.
